My 3 Friends
My three friends consist of my boyfriend, sister and work friend. I actually have more than 3, but I will stick to just 3. I included my sister because, just because someone is blood related to you doesn’t mean you have to be friends. We are friends that happen to be sisters. My sister has great integrity, compassion and a great sense of fairness. I admire these traits and share them with her. Anytime when I question myself, my sister is a great person to speak with and normally has great insight with a perspective i may not have thought of.
My boyfriend is a medically retired veteran. He is disciplined, focused and efficient in just about all that he does. He has brought into my life structure, organization, and support in many different levels. If it were not for his support with my daughter. I would not have been able to attend school and work. He cares for my daughter as if she were his own and he takes pride in her education and well fair. I wish I had a father like him when I was growing up. My life would have been very different. Because of how he is with both my daughter and I my daughter is almost an all A student, she has been on the honor rolls at her school every. He is a very good friend and although he has flaws and issues from being in the military his heart is good.
My work friend she is an awesome friend. She loves the color of her skin and her people and in a way that she doesn’t hate another. She’s Black and beautiful and for me coming from a very mixed background it’s healing. My mother is Afro-Caribbean mixed with Chinese, South American Indian and Scottish. My father is mixed with Native American , African American and European. So that made me a full blooded mut. I admire my work friend because she reminds me to love all that you are unapologetically. My friend also gives great advice and supports my education and helps me when ever she can. She is a great friend to have.
All three of my friends are a blessing to have in my life and I am very great full for all of them.
